This error 0x8007043B means "ERROR SERVICE NOT IN EXE". That is, it is possible that a service not be in "netsvcs" value in the registri key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsfot\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\svchost
Usually the culprit is a bad configuration of one of these services: Wuauserv or Bits.
First, we have to ensure that these services are registered. To try this, Start, Run and type in (without the quotes): “regedit”. Navigate to the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\SvcHost and, in the right panel, click twice on “netsvcs”. We have to add both “BITS” y “wuaserv” (without the quotes). Next we have to see whether Automatic updates service is started and well configured. To do this Start, Run and write (without quotes): “services.msc”. Locate the Automatic updates service and see if it is started and set as Automatic.
