0x80072F8F error means: "ERROR INTERNET SECURE FAILURE ErrorClockWrong". That is, errors have been found in SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). 0x800A138F error means: "ERROR RESOURCE NOT FOUND". That is, a Javascript runtime error.
These issues are caused by a breaking down in system time. According to my research, Windows Update compares the time of SSL certificate to system time and, if they are very different, the update fails. The workaround is straightforward: to setup the time of our system.
