This 0x8024502D error means "WU E PT SAME REDIR ID". That is, the downloaded "wuredir.cab" has no redirector with a newer ID.
This error does appear if we have a bad configured proxy for accessing to Windows Update. We can use proxycfg.exe -p command to set a proxy server (we have to write the name of our proxy server for accessing to Windows Update instead of ""). You can follow the steps given for 0x8024402C and 0x80072EFD errors. After these steps it is strongly recommended to stop and run Automatics updates. We can do this quickly in Start, Run, type in "cmd" (without the quotes) and, on the command line screen, type in the following (hit Enter after each line):
net stop wuauserv net start wuauserv
