To modify
this policy we have to navigate to the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
and, in the
right pane, look for a value “NoControlPanel”, or create a new one (DWORD) in
Edit/New,
if it is not in the pane. We have to assign it “1” to enable the restriction. To
disable it, set it to “0”. If you want to do all
this without going into the registry, download this script from our repository.
