HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer and add a new DWORD value (edit/new) named “NoSecurityTab” (without the quotes), and set it to 1. The above works in WinXP/Win2k/Win2003. To see security tab in WinXP Prof go to My Computer > Folder options > View tab, and uncheck "Use simple file sharing". In WinXP Home, you can only see that tab by restarting in safe mode and login as administrator. There exists a script in our downloads section for automating these steps No comments... |
