This task
can be done by using "gpedit" (in Windows XP only). By means of Windows registry the key to
modify is this one:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
at the
right pane, add a new "reg_dword" value named "NoClose" and
give it the value "1". This will remove the shutdown button from
start menu.
You can also this what has been stated by
downloading this script from our repository.
