This 0x8024402C error means "WU E PT WINHTTP NAME NOT RESOLVED". Or proxy server's name or target server's name cannot be resolved.

According to the information I have collected, these errors are mostly
caused by a bad setting of our proxy. To delete the proxy cache Start, Run and type in (without the quotes): "cmd". On the next screen type in (also without the quotes):
"proxycfg -d" (to force a shortcut) and "proxycfg -u" (to import manual setting from Internet Explorer). It also may be helpful to add the following sites to our firewall/proxy
allowed sites:

. http://*.windowsupdate.microsoft.com.
. https://*.windowsupdate.microsoft.com.
. http://download.windowsupdate.com

Deseo saber si alguien ha odido solverntar este otro error que es muy parecido, pero ue en lugar de acabr en la letra C, acaba en 4, es decir 80244024.
Yo, por si acaso, he hecho todo lo que se comenta para este acabado en C, pero sin resultado.
