This 0x80246005 means "SUS E DM NONETWORK". That is, there is not any network activity.
Start > Run and type in services.msc Locate Automatics updates service, right click on it and choose Stop. Then, Start > Run and type in %windir%\SoftwareDistribution Open DataStorage folder and delete its content, not the folder itself. Now, Start > Run and type in services.msc again. Locate Automatics updates service, right click on it and choose Start. Reboot Windows and go to Windows Update.
